The purpose of the Woman's Missionary Union of Edgewood Baptist Church is to teach and support missions -- local, associational, state, home and foreign. We are to encourage all age level groups -- Mission Friends, Girls in Action, Acteens, and Women on Mission to become an active part in the study and support of missions and to be actively involved in Mission Action projects. It is also the goal of Girls in Action and Acteen leaders to do all they can to ensure the girls come to a saving knowledge of Christ. |

Our program of mission education and action for preschoolers and children meet on Wednesday evenings. Mission Friends is for preschoolers (both boys and girls) age 3 through kindergarten. They meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Girls in Action is for girls grades 1-6. There are three classes for the GA's (grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6), which also meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. |
